Saxon Red Inlay Belt Mount - X44

Reproduced from 7th century Anglo-Saxon belt pieces found at Blacknall Field and on display at the Wiltshire Museum in Pewsey, England. This belt mount is inlaid with red enamel, simulating garnets.

For a 3/4" strap if wrapping the prongs over the leather or a 1-1/4" or wider strap if setting the prongs into the leather.

Cast in bronze. Measures 15/16" by 9/16" (2.5 cm x 1.6 cm) overall with four prongs for mounting.
