Greek and Roman Dolphin Brooch RB-38

This Dolphin brooch is from North Yorkshire and dates from the 1st to 2nd Century AD.  Dolphins had Celtic religious symbolism and were shown ridden by a deity.  In Delos Eros is also shown riding a Dolphin.  The brooch has a steel pin back.  2" x 5/8", 5 x 1.7 cm
