This 9th Century Viking belt keeper mount is a reproduction from the Gokstad ship burial, found at Sandar, Sandefjord, Vestfold, Norway and on display at the Viking Ship Museum in Oslo. The belt keeper accepts the tail end of the belt, allowing it to be worn to the side, away from the buckle.
For a 1-1/2" belt strap. Split rivet attachment.
Cast in bronze, this set of belt keeper is also available with a silver-plated or blackened silver-plated finish.
Belt keeper measures 3/4" by 1 3/4" (2 x 4.4 cm). Opening is 1 cm
