Frankish-Viking Trefoil Brooch - VB07

Designed from a Frankish sword fitting, this trefoil brooch still has the three rings around the center of the piece from the original sword set! Trefoil brooches like this one were found at the Birka 10th Century Viking settlement excavation in Sweden.

Cast in bronze, this piece is also available with a silver-plated or blackened silver-plated finish. This brooch has a steel pin for strength.
