Viking Short-Studded Turtle Brooches - TB28

This pair of turtle brooches are based on a Medieval Viking original from the late 10th Century. Turtle brooches were worn as jewelry on Viking women's apron dresses. These brooches are outlined by a series of ball design elements, with six small studs on each. These brooches do not stand too tall, despite the studs!

Cast in bronze, these brooches are also available with a silver-plated or blackened silver-plated finish. They use steel pins for strength.

Comes as a pair of brooches, each measuring 3-1/4" by 2-1/4" (8 cm by 5.7 cm)
