Viking Wolves Turtle Brooches - TB02

This pair of turtle brooches are based on an Early Viking find from Oppland, Norway (Oslo C.5324) dating from the late 8th to late 9th century. Turtle brooches were worn as jewelry on Viking women's apron dresses.

Cast in bronze, these brooches are also available with a silver-plated or blackened silver-plated finish. They use steel pins for strength.

Comes as a pair of brooches, each measuring 3-1/4" (8.2 cm) tall.
