Viking Gokstad Belt, Red - FB103

This finished belt is a one-off! Once it is sold, it will be gone.

This Viking belt has a buckle and tip based on 9th century pieces from the Gokstad ship burial, found at Sandar, Sandefjord, Vestfold, Norway and on display at the Viking Ship Museum in Oslo. The buckle, VB03, features knotwork and the tip, VB04, features openwork and knotwork designs. The belt is dyed squire's red.

The belt is hand-dyed leather with bronze mounts. It measures approximately 60" in length and 1-1/2" in width.
