Viking Dragon Head Belt Tip, 5" - B19L

Reproduced from a 10th Century Viking belt tip, this belt tip has a spiral pattern on the reverse!

The original was found during the 1964 excavation of St. Mary's Bishophill, Senior Church in York, England.

This tip has an opening that your belt goes into and then you just  fold over the belt and sew or rivet the leather to secure the tip to the end of your belt.

Cast in bronze.

1-1/2" x 5"  (3.7 x 12.7 cm)

See Belt Tip # B19 for the shorter version.
