These Seax fittings were in the Staffordshire Hoard.  Shown on our welded blade made for the fittings.  The Seax is about 20" long.  The end cap is 1 1/8" x 1 1/4", 3.2 x 2.9 cm and the bolster is about 1" x 7/8", 2.5 x 2.2 cm  The pieces come either in plain bronze with no enamel or in gold plated bronze with red enamel to suggest the garnet that the seax had.
