Viking Belt Buckle - J-08

Gotland Grave

This piece is from Hellvi, Gotland and featured in Viking from the National Museum of Denmark

Also on Gotland is the Visby dig site. My first real armor in the SCA came from “The Hammer”. Sir Polidor and Sir Albert produced this publication for the Middle Kingdom amourers guild. The article on how to build a coat of plates inspired me to make a coat of plates for myself and then share that knowledge with many, many others.

I hope to be sharing many more finds from this amazing place!
