Gothic Bow Brooch with Red Enamel - TB04

This bow brooch is a reproduction from a 6th Century Visigothic example from the British Museum. Bow brooches were worn by Germanic peoples like the Goths, Franks, Anglo-Saxons and Vikings and were influenced by late Roman fibulae brooches.

Cast in bronze with red enamel, this piece is also available with a silver-plated or blackened silver-plated finish. This brooch has a steel pin for strength.
