Roman Crossbow Bow Brooch - TB17

A 1st Century Roman British bow brooch or fibula brooch from the Hod Hill Dig. The Roman fibula brooch was an ancient design, and this flat, crossbow-shaped fibula brooch is an ornate version of similar 1st Century Romano-British brooches that have been found.

Cast in bronze, this brooch is also available with a silver-plated or blackened silver-plated finish. It has a steel pin for strength.

2-7/8" by 1-3/4" (7.2 cm by 4.6 cm)
